Brief introduction of Graduate Student Volunteers Association

of School of Ophthalmology and Optometry of Wenzhou Medical University（WMU）

Where there’s a need, there’s us. Our volunteer association

established in 2011 by the students from School of Ophthalmology and Optometry in WMU, now consists of over 60 dedicated volunteers including post-graduates and doctoral students. All of us are working together to advance our school more Inclusive and open-up to our domestic and international students. By organizing various kinds of English related activities (such as English Corner, Scavenger Hunt, English Debate Competition) and providing thoughtful and meticulous aids for the international students, we bridge the tight relationship between our students and foreign students, we promote our students with better grasp of English. And most of all, we are holding friendship as an end and not a means. We are friends, family and neighbors who share a core belief: community is what we make it.
