Principle Investigator: Xingyi Li, MD

Xingyi Li is professor of ocular biomaterials in the affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. He received his B.S. degrees from Wenzhou medical college (Wenzhou, P.R. China) in 2006. Xingyi Li obtained his M.S in 2008 and Ph.D. in 2011 from the State key lab of Biotherapy, Sichuan University (Chengdu, P.R. China). In 2016-2017, he was sent to Brandeis University (Boston, USA) for one year as visiting scholar at department of chemistry. He starting his independent research at the affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University at 2011 and his research focuses on the ophthalmic applications of nanobiomaterials and hydrogel. Up to now, he have published over 46 papers in academic journals and granted 4 national-level research funds and 3 provincial-level research funds.
