Principal Investigator
Feng Gu, Ph.D. Professor of Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University, Wenzhou, China. He obtained his Ph.D in Genetics from Peking Union Medical College in 2006. From 2007-2009, he got training as a postdoctoral follow in gene regulation and expression of human embryonic stem cell at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He then moved to Seattle and worked on gene targeting in human ES cells at University of Washington from 2009 to 2012. He joined the Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University in 2012 as a Principal Investigator. He has published more than 20 articles in PLOS Biology,Nucleic Acids Research , Molecular Therapy , Journal of Biological Chemistry,Molecular Therapy -Nucleic Acids, Human Gene Therapy et al. He is an editorial board member of Gene Therapy and Genetics (Chinese). His research is now supported by grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Health and Family Planning Commission of China, the grant of Zhejiang Province Science and Technology.
